SUPERHEROES DO EXIST!

Education is one of humans’ basic needs. When talking about it, TEACHERS are always the first thing that comes into one’s mind. Without a teacher, can you imagine how hard it is to learn?
I am already studying since I was three years old. And also, since then, I had been amazed with our teacher. Though we are very noisy and stubborn she’s always been patient. That thought about a teacher didn’t leave me until now. As time past, my mind also expands and becomes more understanding than before and now, I can really understand why being a teacher is a very, very difficult  job. Any professional such as doctors, nurses, lawyers and architects are NOTHING without a teacher.
I am now at my last year in high school and this school year, though it’s not been finished, I have learned many lessons not only in our Calculus class but also in life. And our teacher Mrs. Elizabeth Quitoriano taught us all of these good morals that we really have to learn. We really, really love her and even decades will pass, we will not forget a bit of knowledge she’s taught on us.
Well, to end up this composition, I can tell everyone that superheroes do exist. Just come to school and you will meet them and not just meet, you could also talk to them and they will also teach you in travelling your path in the right and bright way.

SUPERMOM!!!

Superman,Batman, Hulk, WHATEVER! They are some of people’s favourite fictional heroes. But unluckily, I don’t believe them. Maybe because I truly don’t think their powers are practical. It’s very obvious that IT’S NOT TRUE.
Anyway let’s begin at the real topic. Modern hero…. Hmmm...? I knew it! It’s my mom. She don't have super natural powers but i consider her as one. She raised our family alone even without my late father. i really miss him but Imma face my future with my bhero... my mom.

We have to because WE HAVE TO...

Our National Language is the mother of all Filipino communication and Unity. Unity that reaches only just the foot of the better change we’re craving for. Just because of the seducing prettiness of the other foreign language.
We served as a model in having our own language and I’m proud of it.  It’s a great honour for us Filipinos to have our own language and literally, we’re very, very lucky to have it. So, in return, we have to take responsibility in using it in our own country because this will also lead to better future. This will give us the strength to face problems together and celebrate together.
This Filipino Language has a great role in our lives but we have the greatest. By using it, we can be more progressed.

MISTAKES to STEAK

ICT IV for me is another way for our minds to grow.
In our first grading in our ICT, we got to know about many facts such as the history of the internet and who were the men who made and developed it. We also had known about blog and how it works. It really helped us especially in developing our writing skills and expressing our feelings.
When we have to gather information about our assignments, we can’t find the exact answer to our question. We find searching our exact assignments very hard, and we asked for somebody’s help. Also when we have to create our blog account, Lara and I had some problems because we got wrong on creating our blog. Instead of entitling our blogs with our names, we named it as the title of our composition. I was pretty ignorant that time, but now, I’ve learned.
We asked for our teachers help on how to make our blog properly then she said every detail of it again. At first, I think our teacher was annoyed wit us but then she’s not. We solved our problems with our blog and we’re happy about it.
Moving on, I will have to again do all my best not to fail on this subject. Sometimes I feel lazy on doing these but I will motivate myself to do so. I will pass all my assignments and projects and I will review our lessons, I HOPE.

I wouldn’t BELIEVE him so…

July 23, 2012, the president, Mr. Benigno Aquino had his Third State of the Nation Address.  It just lasted for an hour and a half but it is very meaningful because of some of the controversies that got up, even though some seemed not contented of it.
Though I didn’t really watch the said occasion, I relied on some news about it.  Some politician was on their satisfaction of the programs he stated but some didn’t think so that they are all reliable.
For me, I do think he is doing his very best to serve his fellow Filipinos but his best wasn’t enough.  Our lives haven’t been to any better since he got to his throne.  Example, the issue about the Kalayaan Islands and with China.  Our people don’t know about the depths China gave us, those depths will serve as like a permit for them to have their vessels on our territory.
All in all, I wouldn’t have believe that P-noy is trying  his very best, but if he really do, I don’t think his best wasn’t enough to retain Philippine into progress and elevate it into one of the First World Countries.

“PAGKAIN NG GULAY UGALIIN, ARAW-ARAW ITONG IHAIN”

Nutrition is the supply of materials (food) required by organisms to stay alive. Many health problems can be prevented through healthy diet. A diet of a human is what he eats. And healthy diet is primarily consisting of healthy foods like vegetables.
Food is the basic need of a man. It is the prerequisite to sustain life and maintain good health. In general, all organisms need complex kind of food. The three basic components of food- the go, grow and glow nutrients must be present in the food specially glow foods.
Vegetables are one of the big parts of glow foods. It is truly useful for our body and health. It is the main topic about the theme for the nutrition month for this year; “Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw itong Ihain.”
My insights about this year’s nutrition month, considering its activities, will be more meaningful and fun because its message will touch one’s mind. By this, it would be easier to promote good health and proper diet and reduce malnutrition. It’ll also be fun because the activities it would also be fun for the youth and at the same time, motivate them to do their diet well.
Nutrition month is just once year, but its thoughts will remain until our life ends.

My Epistle for P-noy

Mindoro, Vigan City
July 2, 2012
Dear P-NOY,
I was totally overwhelmed with the news, couples of days ago. It was about on our economic progress.    Our depths with other countries were decreasing and I hope it will keep up. Anyway, it’s my pleasure to greet you a good day!
For almost two years of leading our country, I think you’ve been very responsible and hardworking for the progress of our country. You implemented programs like Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) for poor families to elevate poverty. I know you will do all your best prove that you can truly make our country more progressive than any of the last years.  But I think your 6-year term of being president is not enough for you to truly elevate our progress.
Before I end up this letter of mine, I just want to tell you some problems that we’re suffering from our places for you to solve these because you have the greatest responsibility for these problems. We students are suffering from lacking of references specially books. We want to cope up with our topic without going to computer shops every time there’s something we have to search. Our school also was always flooded when rainy season comes. Some classes were suspended because of the flood. They can’t finish their scheduled topic to discuss in time when this problem occurs.
These are some of our problems that I wanted to share to you sir. I hope immediate action will come after you have read this. Thank you for reading my simple epistle and again, have a god day sir!!! J
Very respectfully yours,
JAMEE ANNE ALTARES
